Ayah of the Day

And (remember) when you met (the army of the disbelievers on the Day of the battle of Badr), He showed them to you as few in your eyes and He made you appear as few in their eyes, so that Allâh might accomplish a matter already ordained (in His Knowledge), and to Allâh return all matters (for decision). Hadith of the Day

Narrated Abu Ad-Darda’: The Prophet said, “If a Muslim defends his brother’s honour in his absence, Allah will protect his face from the fire of Hell on the Day of Resurrection.” (At-Tirmidhi reported it, and graded it Hasan (fair) Ahmad has something similar from the Hadith of Asma’, daughter of Yazid)
